Snowbirds this job may be for you.  We close the tasting room from December 1st to April 31st</p>
<p>Requirements:<br />
We are looking for an individual that is well rounded and has the ability and willingness to learn &amp; work in just about every area of our business.<br />
Able to lift &amp; carry 50 lbs. (case of wine weighs about 32 lbs).<br />
Enjoy being outside &amp; like a little adventure.<br />
Will need to taste our wines so you can talk to customers about our wines.<br />
Sales experience is a plus but not required.<br />
Carry a valid South Dakota driver’s license.<br />
Must be at least 21 years of age<br />
Can work without supervision &amp; make decisions on own.<br />
Basic Computer Skills</p>
<p>Duties:<br />
Tasting room:<br />
Open and Close and keep clean &amp; Stocked<br />
Sales, &amp; run cash register<br />
Customer service<br />
Able to handle several customers at once in tasting room and at special events.<br />
Bartend &amp; explain wines (we will train you about our wines)<br />
Answer Phone calls<br />
Run &amp; close out cash register (make change)<br />
Drive own car to events &amp; tastings.</p>
<p>Winery:<br />
Clean tanks, floor and other equipment<br />
Bottling, labeling<br />
Wine Processing<br />
Any other winery work as necessary</p>
<p>Vineyard:<br />
Planting, pruning, trellising, netting, harvesting<br />
weeding, mowing &amp; other.</p>
<p>Special Events:<br />
Friday nights “Evening in the Vineyard”<br />
Automania  &amp; other miscellaneous events.</p>
<p>Stores:<br />
Set up appointments &amp; hold tastings at stores where our wines are carried<br />
deliveries</p>
<p>We will train:<br />
Wines and the wine making process.<br />
Planting, pruning, harvesting and anything else required in the vineyard.<br />
Work that needs to be done around the winery, vineyard and tasting room.</p>
<p>This Position will require you to learn about many aspects of the work done at the winery and you will find that no 2 days are alike at the winery.</p>

• Complete accurate and detailed data entry of account information; process and record customer transactions according to company and departmental policies.<br />
• Perform accurate and detailed scanning and indexing of account information.<br />
• Maintain an advanced operational skill set of remittance and mail processing equipment, possess up-to-date knowledge and troubleshoot problems as required.<br />
• Review, process, and follow-up on requests for information regarding products and services. Monitor inventory and perform marketing catalog order fulfillment.<br />
• Process and prepare company mailings for timely distribution; ensure mailings are in compliance with USPS rates and regulations.<br />
• Assist in cross-training and mentoring team members on Mail Center job functions.<br />

• Ensure that network systems are in compliance with company, departmental, FCC, and FAA, regulations, policies and procedures, and conduct technical audits as necessary to monitor compliance.<br />
• Assist in managing internal projects and processes directed toward promoting the health of the overall network; including but is not limited to: Preventive maintenance, Proof of Performance, CLI, EAS, and status monitoring.<br />
• Ensure that facilities and services are operated and maintained in a manner consistent with the requirements of the services carried on the systems.<br />
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of QAM modulation, conditional access, content acquisition, encoding, rate shaping, multiplexing, encryption, MPEG2, and ad insertion.<br />
• Keep Management up-to-date of engineering activities, issues and progress.<br />
• Serve as a liaison between the Technology Group and Field Operations; build and maintain strong, productive working relationships.<br />

Provide quality service to customers on inbound calls while assisting them with issues concerning core services and products; troubleshoot and resolve any issues with Midcontinent services that may exist.</p>
<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br />
• Receive incoming calls from customers who may have issues or questions about their Midcontinent video or phone service.<br />
• Troubleshoot and successfully resolve outstanding telephone and video service issues, while promoting optimal customer satisfaction.<br />
• Cross-train as requested to develop and broaden skill sets and to support customer demand.<br />
• Document accurately each call as trained by supervisor and or training department.<br />
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner if necessary.<br />
• Set up accurate accounts for new customers, prepare work orders for installs and repairs, and prepare other necessary customer transactions.<br />
• Troubleshoot video and phone issues skillfully.<br />
• Record electronic transactions accurately while talking with customers over the phone.<br />
• Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility and confidentiality in carrying out customer support functions.<br />
• Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all internal and external customers.<br />
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.<br />
• Adhere to Midcontinent Communications privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.<br />
• Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.</p>

<p>GENERAL INFORMATION:<br />
The Minnehaha County Highway Department is currently accepting applications for a Spray Truck Operator. This is a temporary, part-time position during the months of late May 2013 to late October 2013.</p>
<p>EXAMPLES OF DUTIES INCLUDE:<br />
Operate manual and vehicle-mounted equipment to apply herbicides and pesticides as directed to control noxious weeds.</p>
<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<br />
High school diploma or GED. Applicants must be age 18 by the date of hire; must possess a valid driver&#8217;s license and a good driving record; must be able to lift 50lbs; and must successfully complete a criminal background check. Ability to pass the required pesticide application exams and to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to understand and comply with verbal and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.</p>
<p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<br />
Previous experience working in a similar environment.</p>
