Job Description

The Classified Sales Manager is responsible for continued increase in classified revenues through new business development as well as offering superior customer service with ongoing customers. The Classified Sales Manager will assist the classified staff customers to grow their business through classified mediums in the newspaper and online.

Be part of a successful team.
Selling classified ads (phone sales) to new customers and maintain relationships
with current customers.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
Must have the innate desire to succeed.
Must have an outgoing and assertive personality.
Required to find leads through competitive media (other newspapers/magazines.
Computer skills are necessary to manage your accounts.
Sales experience not necessary, but desirable (or at least customer service
experience.
Must demonstrate that you can sell and provide superior customer service.
Must be detail-oriented (spelling, grammar, proofreading).
Must be very organized.
